Sensei Dave Anderson, 1st Dan (Black Belt) and UKCC Level 2 Club Coach, also started Judo under the direction of John at Lasswade Judo Club. On his first night he admits to "standing in the corner with a wobbly leg!" but having donned a Judo jacket and getting stuck in he was hooked.  He practises and coaches judo at several clubs across Scotland and can usually be found on a mat somewhere most nights! Having helped out at Peebles for the last few years he is now 'officially' on the PJC Coaching team and has taken responsibility for the second class from Dec 2011.  Dave is a regular competition player and gained his first black belt in Feb 2012.
